Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, the stunningly beautiful daughter –in- law of Big B, walked the ramp for acclaimed fashion designer Manish Malhotra’s couture show at HDIL India Couture Week, but felt upset at being addressed by nickname ‘Ash.’
In fact, Aishwarya has been trying for years to get rid of this name but unfortunately could not succeed for one or another reason. After marriage even Abhishek Bachchan, her hubby, was not very fond of the nickname and was heard telling a section of media to stop using it.
Aishwarya was obviously overwhelmed with the support that she received from hubby in the matter and was seen gushing about it. As far as her walking the ramp for Manish Malhotra is concerned, the lady made it clear that it was long due and this time everything fell into place and it happened.
But that was only for Manish Malhotra and not for even Karan Johar, who had also asked Aishwarya to walk the ramp for him during the HDIL event. When asked if she would like to walk the ramp for Salman Khan’s charity ‘Being Human’, which is also scheduled in a day or two, Aishwarya’s reply was evasive that she would be out of town for some time now.
