Sources speculate that Kate could be pregnant. Some speculate that she is in fact already bearing a child. It seems that Kate's behavior at the wedding of William's cousin Zara Phillips is the source of the latest buzz.
According to Hollywood Life, while William and Kate both appeared to be having a wonderful time at Zara's wedding, it was more than noticeable that Kate completely abstained from drinking any alcohol. A source says she drank nothing with alcohol at either the wedding reception or the pre-wedding cocktail party.
"She's being very careful not to do anything to jeopardize getting pregnant — or unknowingly harm the fetus in the event that she already is," the source says--providing a very reasonable explanation for one of two scenarios.
Certainly Kate Middleton wouldn't be drinking heavily if she were trying to conceive a child, but a glass of wine or champagne wouldn't be a danger. So could she actually be expecting the royal couple's first baby?
Princess Diana hadn't been married to Prince Charles for very long when it was announced that she was pregnant with William. Could Kate Middleton and Prince William be following in his parents footsteps?
Those who don't believe Kate is already pregnant speculate that their plans to spend the summer at Balmoral Castle coincide with plans to conceive. After all, it's a beautiful and very relaxing spot.
"They both love the peace and seclusion there, and it's the perfect relaxing setting to help them conceive their first baby if it's not already on the way," the source says.
Of course it would be the perfect place to take it easy if Kate Middleton is in fact pregnant, too. It's likely, however, that even if she is, there won't be an announcement until she is several weeks into the pregnancy.
Do you think Kate Middleton is already pregnant, or are they just rumours? It certainly would be very exciting news!
